  1. Today more than 70 CRPF Jawans out of 120 were killed in an ambush in the Dantewada district of Chattisgarh.

Sometime back A CRPF Camp in Silda in West Midnapore district of West Bengal was practically wiped out by the Maoists.

Our Prime Minister and Home Minister are shocked! Our Central Govt has also recogonised that Maoists are the greatest single threat to our nation!

It took them more than 60 years and God knows how many Lakhs of India's dirt cheap lives of its civilian and military citizen to realize that!

I apeal to the above authorities to stop talking and experimenting. They should also realise that there is only one and the only, by and large honest, institution left in the country known as the "Indian Army", who can crush the Maoists. So they should let the Indian Army do the job and finish the Maoists for ever. Sending the ill trained Para-military for this job is murder!

If Army is given the job, then they should be allowed to finish it. The Operation Rhino in Assam was called off by the then PM Chandra Shekhar, just as the Army was about to finish the ULFA.This was done only to keep the problem alive! The ULFA still calls the shots in many parts of Assam. If there is no problem then who will go to the Politicians!

KPS Gill the man who crushed the Khalistan terrorists has said that even the plans of Operation Green Hunt are wrong.

This is no Law and Order problem to be brushed under the carpet! Here we have thousands of highly trained and armed with state of the art weaponery. What is the difference between these blood thursty Maoists and Talibans? What is the difference between them and hostile foreign nations? This is a war against our Democratic way of life. India is under attack!

We are bleeding and bleeding while our PM and HM keeps looking only at the BSE index! Remember, Politicians,Judiciarry and the Beaurocrats did not do their jobs honestly. That is why we have so much of under development and so many driven to take up arms to get justice. Maoist are anarchists who thrive in such situations.

So stop politicking and crush this menace of Maoism. Delete the Maoist for ever. Give Indians a decent life to live. Do not work only for Multinationals. Remember we have voted you in to power. Not the Multinationals.

I prey for those jawans who did not come back and condolences to their families.

  2. It has been reported in IBN that the CRPF Jawans in Dantewada did not have any bullet proof jackets because the Home Ministry is sitting on the file for last 2 years!

I would like to ask Mr Chidambaram, the Home Minister, what does he have in mind? Firstly he repeatedly rules out the possibility of deploying Army and Now we come to know that his ministry is dillidallying with the purchase of Bullet proof jackets for those jawan! Many of them would have survived had they had Bullet proof jackets.

To my mind what seems to be the reason for doing this is that the HM wants to let our inadequetly trained (Thats what the Generals are saying) Para-military perish by making them Targets of the Maoists, even making sure that they dont have minimum protection!

Isn't that something like a cold blooded, planned and premeditated MURDER?

  3. HM’s intention of resigning is commendable. He is truly responsible for it. But he should learn from it and make changes on the field immediately instead of setting up commissions. We know how these commissions work in free India! Mr Home Minister Sir! Give this job to the people who can handle it. Give the Army this job. Training the CRPF adequetly has not been done in last 40 years! How much longer do we have to wait and bleed?! The Naxals or Maoists have become more powerful.

  4. Those who call themselves Intellectuals of Kolkata, the faces that we see on the TV and the Newspapers under the leadership of Mahashweta Debi, who want a change in this state, had a street corner press conference at Dharmatala in Kolkata on 8th April 2010.

They did not seem to be affected by the deaths of 84 CRPF Jawans in Dantewada. The press had to ask them, whether they are condemning the incident or nor! Though they replied “Yes”, they added that State sponsored Terrorism was also bad! That press conference was not called for condemning the incident. It was called for Demanding that “Operation Greenhunt” must be stopped. Because the forces are harassing the innocent Tribals. They also said that Operation Green Hunt was a ploy to snatch away land, which is rich in minerals, in the Jungal Mahal (Forest Area) occupied by the tribals and hand them over to Multi Nationals.

I fully agree that poor people (not only tribals) are ruthlessly being evicted to make way for the Multi Nationals. We have seen that in most places including Singur and Nandigram. But I fail to understand why the innocent tribals are being equated with the Ruthless Maoists by the Intellectuals or Buddhijibis!

Even though I have criticized our HM but I know that he does not want to deploy the Army only so that there is minimum harassment for the tribals. As for the state govt. of West Bengal I just can’t trust Mr. Buddhadeb Bhuttacharya any more, after what he did in Singur and Nandigram. He is also reported to be arming his Harmads (brainwashed robotic CPIM militia) to annihilate the opposition in many parts of this state. So any action must take in to account the ruling CPIM harmads, who should not be allowed to spread terror.

Coming back to the intellectuals, I do not under stand why they are doing every thing possible to ensure that pressure is mounted on the govt to call of the anti-naxal or anti-maoist actions.

About Lalgarh and the movement started by the tribals under Chhatradhar Mahato, the movement had started genuinely as a people’s movement in protest against senseless police actions, under development etc. I had written a song in praise of the movements by the saontals, which was set to tune and sung by Debashis Roy and included in the Audio CD “Bhango Bastil”.

Having been expelled from Trinamool Congress earlier, Chhatradhar Mahato had allied with the Maoists who rushed in as saviors. But then I found that Maoists had hijacked the movement! They were calling the shots. Ultimately I was unable to distinguish the People’s Movement from the Maoists Movent!

Killing leaders of the CPIM party, burning their houses, initially appeared to be public out burst after three decades of subjugation. But later on I found that all that was going on under the absolute control of the Maoists. Chhatradhar Mahato had by then had mounted a Tiger and was unable to alight from it!

It did not matter even if he was arrested. Because he was not controlling the movement in any case. The strings lay in the hands of Kishenji the Maoist leader, who is so brave that he is even afraid to show his face!

It does not matter whether they are Indians (intellectuals call them – our own people) or not. They have waged a war against us (Isn’t our govt. Us?). They should be fought and finished.
Reports suggest that these Maoists are only carrying out a plan by China to disintegrate India by 2050!

Let there be war. Let us get over it quickly, instead of painfully bleeding in this manner for decades.

If the Maoists win (as in Nepal) then God help us! If they loose which I am sure of, then it must be totally eradicated. Not let to linger like the ULFA in Assam.

Let the Intellectuals explain a bit more explicitly about their stand. They spoke out during Singur and Nandigram movement, which gave great strength to fight the state govt. Why are they not seeing any Maoist (as per Mahashweta Debi) now, in the Tribal areas?!

  6. Today, it has been reported in the press, that Maoist leader/commander Bikram has declared to pay compensation to the Jawans they killed at Dantewada! As if they are the govt. of this country!

This Govt is yet to come out of state of shock. I still do not understand what is stopping tham from making an all out effort to finish these Maoists for ever.

THIS CONGRESS GOVT. HAS MADE INDIA INTO A SOFT STATE. THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR THE LIVES OF ORDINARY LAW ABIDING INDIAN PEOPLE. ONLY PASSING TIME, MAKING MONEY, THAT'S ALL.

I request Mr Manmohan Singh(The Prime Minister of India, remember!) to realise that there is a parallel govt. running under the Maoists in this country now. We still do not know what he has to say besides expressing shock and condolences. With the treatment that US is giving to India at present(same as that of Pakistan, the root of all Islamic terrorism in the World), he should have rejected any proposal to go there. But That is a different issue.

    ReplyDelete
  7. The Maoists have also declared that they are going to start an operation called "Peace Hunt"!

Mr Manmohan Singh must now tell us, rest of his unfortunate countrymen, whom should we pay our Income Taxes to! Govt. of India or the Maoists!

Because the people under the Maoist affected areas in the country are already paying Taxes to stay alive, to avoid public execution! People suspected of being an informer gets even beheaded in public. They save a bullet that way!

I had the chance to interview a gentleman from Vietnam who had to escape out of Vietnam in a small boat that he made with his own hands along with others, in 1985, risking his life in open Sea, only to escape selective persecution and because he valued his freedom.
    He now lives in Australia.

He told me that after the US left Vietnam the communists took over and they thought that life would be better. But the communists had sold of Vietnam to the Chinese instead, even without a fight!

What followed was a blood bath! A spree of cold blooded murder and political cleansing by the communist party of Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh.

They used to catch any one they felt like and sentence him to death for any silly reason. They would declare a death sentence after a mockery of a trial and execute the prisner.

But that is normal for any country where Communists have come to power. What was new was that they used to make the relatives pay for the bullet for carrying out the execution!

This is what you are going to get if these Maoists come to power.

Our leaders have mostly amassed enough to flee out of the country and spend the rest of their life in comfort when and if that happens. The rest of us will be fecing the brunt. We will be paying for the inactiveness of this govt.

  10. The Death of Jawans In Dantewada - Press Statement of Intellectuals/Activists Urging The Government to Engage In Dialogue. May 6, 2010
We, the undersigned, mourn the death of 74 jawans in Dantewada on April 6, 2010. Regrettably, it is a direct fall out of the government’s wrong-headed policy of declaring a war on the poorest sections of its own people. We have been urging the Indian government that the issues arising out of the opposition of adivasis to MOUs signed by the state governments with mining and other industrial conglomerates, resulting in grab of land and common resources like forest and river, and massive forceful displacement and dispossession, leave them in a desperate state, with no possible alternative, thus depriving them of dignified livelihood.
They are our fellow citizens, with as much right to life as any one of us, and the issue has to be resolved through dialogue rather than force of arms. The apparent intelligence failure on the part of the government machinery is a symptom of how little local popular support these aggressive policies of the government, embodied in Operation Green Hunt, enjoy.
    continued…

    ReplyDelete
  11. We urge the government of India not to pursue further this disastrous option, or fall prey to the illusion that stepping up this war on our own people would solve any of the fundamental problems facing the people of this area. It would instead degenerate into an uncontrollable civil war, as more people dispossessed of land and livelihood will be driven to take up arms. Dialogue and not arms is the only way forward: not an option but a compulsion of the situation. And dialogue can never start merely with abstract discourse on violence versus non-violence, but transparency on immediate issues affecting the lives of millions, such as dispossession and displacement through signing of MOUs, and violation of constitutional rights of adivasis under the Fifth Schedule. This initiative can only come from the government.

  12. Death of Sashadhar Mahato is a case of cold blooded murder.
Finally we came to know that Maoist leader Sashadhar Mahato was killed in an encounter. Since 10 March, photograph of a body with AK47 has been claimed by the police to be a high rank Maoist leader. Media suspected that he was Sashadhar Mahato, though police said they were trying to identify. Yesterday, 13 March Chhatradhar Mahato, the elder brother of Sashadhar identified the body.
Joint forces claimed that Sashadhar Mahato was killed in an encounter in Jamboni on 10 March 2011. He was firing from his AK-47 rifle and did not leave any option other than getting shot. Mr. Mukesh Kumar, additional SP, Jhargram said: “If anyone shoots with AK-47, then will it be wise to throw flower?....what the forces did was proper” (source: The Statesman 14 March 2011).
Although we expected much responsibility from this IPS officer, he did not bother to provide any evidence; evidences of shooting from Ak-47 and of fierce encounter. May be this is how they have been trained….making comments without showing any evidence. If Sashadhar was shooting from AK-47 then wasn’t it some casualty from the side of joint forces expected? Rather it appeared from the footage shown in different TV channels and photographs published in different dailies that the head of Sashadhar was partially blown up suggestive of killing from a very close distance. Can a person shooting from AK-47 be killed from such a close distance? Sorry, Mr. additional SP, the story of encounter death is not well cooked.
Death of Sashadhar Mahato is a case of cold blooded murder.
Recently in a ruling Supreme Court said a person could not be killed just because he was found to be the member of an “illegal” organization. (Ref: Membership of banned organization is no crime: Supreme Court- PTI 4 February, 2011 please find the attached document)
Police or CRPF or any military or paramilitary force does not enjoy any constitutional power to kill people. Whereas joint forces want us to believe that they can kill anybody if they like--whatever they are doing is to protect us. Obviously police and other forces do not care supreme court's ruling and like to enjoy extra-constitutional power of killing.
Then how can people protect themselves?

  13. State's war on poor adivasi people: The truth behind the brutal military action against so-called "Mao terrorists"
It is quite regrettable that all big newspapers and popular news media as financed by the capitalists are more or less propagating utter lie regarding Lalgarh's tribal movement and the role of Maoists there, because these mass media and intellectuals are serving the vested interest of the big capitalists, corporate, Indian state government as well as Congress, TMC, CPI(M), BJP and all other ruling parties
I'm telling you with lots of supporting evidences in my hand that Lalgarh's movement was not at all hijacked by Kishanji or his Maoist party as campaigned by commercial TV and news media. People's democratic activities and struggle is still going on there under the banner of "Pulishi Santras Birodhi Janosadharoner Committee" despite brutal violence of police, harmads, militaries and paramilitary force.
The Maoists are just a supporting force of deprived and exploited Adivasi people, like Trinomool Congress in Nandigram and Singur
Yes, it’s absolutely true that the radical leftist revolutionaries have been using armaments and landmines, but those journalists and mass movement workers who went to Nandigram in the year 2007 know well that Trinamool Congress also did the same thing in Nandigram supplying weapons to apparently “non-violent” group "Bhumi Uchhed Protirodh committee", for self-defence of the victimized poor villagers.

    ReplyDelete
  14. It was also my personal experience during investigation in Nandigram as a rural journalist in the year 2006-07 and I collected lots of evidences in support of my observation.
From the very beginning of Nandigram Movement, it was not at all non-violent agitation or "satyagraha" by the villagers, but initially it was not well organized like Lalgarh Movement. Rather it was a spontaneous resistance of local villagers (firstly with their traditional weapons like staff, sickle, lance, even mere broom and afterward firearms) against police and Lakshman Seth’s private army hired from outside (like Salwa Judum in Chattishgarh).
On 3rd January 2007, the first confrontation of the villagers with police took place. On 22-24 January, 2007, a fact finding team consisting of 5 members of “Paschim Banga Khet Majoor Samity” visited Nandigram to ascertain the current situation there. An exclusive fact finding report on People’s Uprising in Nadigram was published in “Bharatiya Samajik Chintan” (A Quarterly Journal of the Indian Academy of Social Sciences), January-March issue 2007.
Here are some relevant excerpts from that fact finding report:
"As the news of police violence spread all over the neighbouring villages, the villagers of Sonachura, Osmanchawk, Jalpai, Garchakraberia and others resisted the police to protect themselves. The villagers at Sonachura set a police jeep on fire."
“Tension gripped in Nandigram while a local CPI (M) office at Rajaramchawk was ransacked on the 5th January by the excited villagers. Some of the CPI (M) leaders have fled the villages, while much of their rank and file joined the anti-land acquisition movement. Following 3rd January's incident, the CPI (M) set up a number of camps at Satkhanda near Bhangabera Bridge, Pankhai and Sherkhanchawk in Khejuri -2 block that surround the protesting villages. Arms were being amassed in each of these camps. The plan was clearly one of "cleansing" the villages of dissenters.”
In the wee hours of the 7th morning, at Sonachura village, Nandigram -1 Block there was bombing and firing, where 4 villagers including a 13 year old boy named Biswajit Maity were killed and at least 20 people were seriously wounded in overnight clashes between local peasants resisting land acquisition and some 'outsider' cadres of the CPI(M) party. Those who died were Bharat Mondal (Sonachura), Biswajit Maity (Soudkhali), Sheikh Salim (Jadubarichawk) and Shankar Samanta (Son of SudhansuSamanta, Sonachura). The last one, a member of the CPI(M)controlled Sonachura 10 no. Gram Panchayat, was assassinated by the villagers to take revenge of carnage .”

"After the massacre about five thousand local people set the CPI(M) camp at Satkhanda in Khejuri-2 block and the house of Shankar Samanta, ablaze."
So it was clearly written in this report that notorious goon and local CPI(M) harmad Shankar Samanta was assassinated by the enraged villagers to take reprisal of slaughter.
Afterward the armed resistance of BUPC was backed by TMC party in Nandigram, like Kishanji's Maoists' party in Lalgarh to resist Harmads, police force and military atrocities.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Please tell me where is the dissimilarity between the role of TMC in Nandigram Uprising and Maoists in Lalgarh Movement? I have found no difference. I personally experienced that both parties built up armed resistance against state's oppression. So why will only Maoist party be accused as "terrorist"? Why only the Maoist groups will be alleged as "anti-constitutional party" violating “human rights”?
What about other so-called “constitutional party"? What is the reason of such kind of political prejudices, partiality and biasness of civil society and news media against radical leftist parties? Why CPI(M) should not be banned after killings of innocent people in Singur, Nandigram, Lalgarh and other regions of West Bengal? Why TMC should not be forbidden after Nandigram uprising? Why Congress party of Sonia, Manmohan, Chidambaram should not be banned after torturing and killing poor Adivasi people, farmers and labourers in many states of India?
Why Bharatiya Janata Party should not be legally invalidated after demolition of Babri Masjid spreading communal riots in India, Why BJP should not be banned after Gujrat's Genocide, and at the moment brutal atrocities and violence of police and Salwa Judum (Raman Singh's Harmads) led by BJP govt. in Chattishgarh over poor tribal people and social workers like Binayak Sen, Himanshu Kumar and others?
All ruling parties should be banned as all of them use guns and bombs to take control over common people, all of them are spreading reign of terror. Am I wrong?

I am personally against all kind of retaliation and intimidation in the name of either crushing up Maoist guerrillas or in the name of so-called ultra-leftist “revolution”. I don’t believe in the gun-politics of killings and counter-killings, I hate politics of revenge, I despise trigger-happy police as well as violent and destructive political movement uprooted from mass. I hate any kind of dictatorship in the name of politics either by Kishanji or Soniaji or Ramanji or Mamataji or any other leader.
But I do believe in common people’s constitutional rights of self-defense and self protection. What shall I do if a gang of slaughterers or hooligans assault me, try to kill me, and try to rape my daughter, attack my family or burn up my house? What shall I do then to save my own life and my family? Gandhi’s Satyagraha? Shall I chant “Ramdhoon” instead of defending against the assaulters?

I do believe everyone has right to build up strong resistance by my means against all kind of violence and atrocities. A gang of dacoits or hooligans may suddenly break into the house of a citizen in the dead of the night or a "terrorist" or anti-social element may try to kill a person or a sudden riot may take place without anyone anticipating even moments before such events taking place.
Our State is unable to fully protect the lives of its citizens and more often the police arrive at the scene after the damage is done only to find out the cause for the occurrence. As a result, the innocent victims are falling prey to the violence unleashed by desperados.
We should know that it is in this situation the "Arms Act 1959" has conferred on the citizen a right to obtain an arms license for protection of his person or property. The State felt the responsibility of protecting the lives and properties of the citizens by rationally interpreting the provisions of the Act to advance the purpose for which it was made. The Right to Keep & Bear Arms was promised to all Indian citizens as a Fundamental Right throughout the freedom struggle and post-independence it was finally enshrined as a Legal Right as per the Arms Act 1959. 16. According to Section 97 of IPC, every person has a right, subject to the restrictions contained in section 99, to defend- First- His own body, and the body of any other person, against any offence affecting the human body; Secondly- The property, whether movable or immovable, of himself or of any other person, against any act which is an offence falling under the definition of theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass, or which is an attempt to commit theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass.
Here is another important verdict of Supreme Court:-
On March 11 2009, thirty years after killing a man, the Supreme Court let off two accused holding that they were entitled to acquittal as the act was committed in exercise of self-defense which is permitted under the law. The attached news "Killing another in self-defense is one's right: Supreme Court" (12 March 2009) is another evidence of self-contradiction of Indian law. Here is the link:

“Right to self-defense” is not only about using force to save oneself from an attacker but also extends to protecting one's property from being stolen or forcibly taken over, the Supreme Court has ruled in the last year. (What about plundering of lands, water, forests of indigenous people by the big capitalists, corporate and the state?)
Another Important verdict of Supreme Court in the last year. (20th July, 2010)

So it's a fact that not only the “Maoists rebels”, our Indian constitution also does not truly believe in Mahatma Gandhi's thought of non-violence.
It is clear from the Indian Arm's Act of 1959 and the Arms Rules of 1962 that our constitution has conferred on the citizen a right to keep ammunition to protect his person or property. It’s ironically true that our government itself provides common people "License to kill" invaders for protection of defender's life and property. Killing of people is made "legal" by the state.
So my question is why armed resistance of tribal people against state atrocities should be banned by the government? Is it only just difference of having license of possession of weapon or firearms provided by the state or not? What a hypocrisy and self-contradiction in our Indian constitution!
If you ask me about my personal opinion regarding the Maoists' movement and state's atrocities over Adivasi people, I fully consent with well-known writer Ms. Arundhati Roy or renowned Gandhian social activist of Chattishgarh Mr. Himanshu Kumar and other Human Rights Activists like Gautam Navlakha, Sudha Bhardwaj and many others. Like them I'm not biased with any political thoughts either rightist groups, leftist groups or ultra-leftists groups.
And I know you are also an open minded person, a free thinker and totally unbiased. So please think about it rationally.

Another self contradiction in Indian law:-
Indian Penal Code section 96 to section- section 106 also depicts Right to Self Defense.
According to Section 97 of IPC, every person has a right, subject to the restrictions contained in section 99, to defend- Firstly, His own body, and the body of any other person, against any offence affecting the human body; Secondly, the property, whether movable or immovable, of himself or of any other person, against any act which is an offence falling under the definition of theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass, or which is an attempt to commit theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass.

  19. Please tell me where is the dissimilarity between the role of TMC in Nandigram Uprising and Maoists in Lalgarh Movement? I have found no difference. I personally experienced that both parties built up armed resistance against state's oppression.
So why only Maoist party will be accused as "terrorist"?

All ruling parties should be banned because all of them use guns and bombs to take control over common people, all of them are spreading reign of terror.

I hate any kind of dictatorship in the name of politics either by Kishanji or Soniaji or Mamataji or any other leader.
Shall I chant “Ramdhoon” instead of resisting the assaulters?

  22. I fully agree with Amalkanti Roy that our Constitution has given us the right to possess arms to … “to defend- Firstly, His own body, and the body of any other person, against any offence affecting the human body; Secondly, the property, whether movable or immovable, of himself or of any other person, against any act which is an offence falling under the definition of theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass, or which is an attempt to commit theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass”.

My question is -- But what sort of arms ? A Sickle, a stick, any hand to hand combat weapon, even a pistol or a revolver (Govt is not averse to giving license for them ) is acceptable. But when the weapons take the form of Kalashnikovs or plainly speaking AK47, the most accurate gun even by today’s standards, then should we not stop to think about the motive of these weapon’s users?

Why are Maoists being equated with Adivasis? They are totally different.

Atrocities against the adivasis is nothing but atrocities against ourselves. This has to be stopped immediately and perpetrators brought to book. There is no doubt about that.

What I am concerned about are those people who say that they are Maoists, who are in many cases, trained and indoctrinated (read brain washed) in China, and sent to India for a very special purpose! That purpose is certainly not uplifting the downtrodden masses of India. Their main aim, as far as I can see, is to break up India and bring down India to a weak state, where China can do what ever it pleases.

  23. Please go through the last missing part of my previous article. This part is the most important part of my statement consisting of supporting documents in favour of my vision, but I am sorry I could not post it due to some unavoidable technical problem of blog. Here is the concluding part of my earlier statement.
Regrettably even Mamata Banerjee and her TMC who were strongly against CPI(M)'s terrorism from Singur-Nandigam to Netai, is a part of this anti-people policy of central government and operation green hunt and state-sponsored brutal violence on poorest adivasi people by Sonia, Manmohan, Chidambaram in different states of India in the name of crushing up the "Maoist rebels".
Then who will save these oppressed adivasi people?
Once Mahatma Gandhi criticized Bhagat Singh and other freedom fighters in the same way, as in the present day, we, the civil society, mass media and all constitutional parties criticize the tribal movement and their resistance led by the Maoists revolutionaries.
Do we really have right to pay homage to Martyr Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Khudiram, Kanailal Dutta, Bagha Jatin, Surya Sen, Binoy-Badol-Dinesh, Rasbehari Bose, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Azad Hind Army and many other revolutionaries, if we condemn radical Maoists force today just for their political strategy of armed resistance? Why do we applause “Pather Dabee” the politically banned novel of Sharatchandra Chattopadhyay by the British Government?
We have to keep in mind that the imperialist British Government and the mass media controlled by the British Government also called our brave and devoted freedom fighters "Swadeshi Dakat" or "Terrorists". The communist party also reviled the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose blaming him as a “conspirator”, “traitor” and “Tojo’s Dog” (Tojo was the war-time Prime Minister of Japan). Several other abuses were hurled on him by the Communists at the time when Netaji was organizing the people of Indian origin in South-East Asia including Indian prisoners of war captured by the Japanese and setting up the Azad Hind Fauj for liberating India from the British yoke. Even derogatory cartoons were published in the People’s War magazine that the Communists were publishing in those days. The so-called “communists” also publicly campaigned that Netaji conspired with Hitler,Tojo and the fascist force and his Azad Hind Army were trained and indoctrinated in Japan and sent to India for a very special purpose, not uplifting the downtrodden masses of India against British Raj. As per “communists” their main aim, was to break up India and bring down India to a weak state with the support of fascist and imperialist power. After 56 years of independence finally the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, apologized on January 23, 2003, on behalf of the Communists, ostensibly to the people of India, for undermining Netaji's patriotism and the importance of his role in the country's freedom struggle, highlighting only his entente with the axis powers. "I am apologizing for our mistaken assessment of Netaji," Buddhadeb said. Former CM Late Jyoti Basu had earlier admitted that the Communists had misjudged the role of Netaji. What an irony!!
Now let us wait when history will repeat itself, when Buddhadeb and other political leaders will apologize for upbraiding the Maoists rebels as “terrorists” backed by China.

  24. British government also sponsored counterinsurgency campaign in all over the country which involved fake police encounter, gang rape, burning villages, genocide as part of an effort to counter so called "terrorists" freedom fighters i.e. "Swadeshi Dakat".
But who were real terrorists? Bhagat Singh, Surya Sen, Binoy-Badol-Dinesh, Netaji or the British Government?
And also today the burning question is who real “Terrorists” are? Who are the “extremists”? The Maoists or the state? Sashadhar Mahato or the military-paramilitary and police’s joint force?
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CIVIL WAR?
WHY SHOULD WE, THE CITIZENS OF INDIA, BEAR THE HUGE COST OF DEPLOYMENT OF A TRIGGER-HAPPY, PLUNDERER AND RAPIST MILITARY-PARAMILTARY FORCE PAYING OUR VALUABLE TAX TO REPRESS AND ANNIHILATE OUR POOR TRIBAL BROTHERS AND SISTERS?

So these articles are very much important to understand the naked truth behind the State's anti-people and wrong-headed policy of declaring a war on the poorest sections of its own people and the real picture behind the curtain of pseudo-democracy in India.

How many roads must a man walk down,
before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove fly,
before she sleeps in the sand?
And how many times must a cannon ball fly,
    before they're forever banned?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist,
before it is washed to the sea?
How many years can some people exist,
before they're allowed to be free?
And how many times can a man turn his head,
and pretend that he just doesn't see?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

How many times must a man look up,
    before he sees the sky?
And how many ears must one man have,
before he can hear people cry ?
And how many deaths will it take till we know,
that too many people have died?

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,
the answer is blowing in the wind.

Strong and bitter words indicate a weak cause. People generally quarrel because they cannot argue.
French moralist Joseph Joubert বলেছিলেন-- The aim of argument, or of discussion, should not be victory, but progress.

  40. We welcome Hon. Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt. Mamata Banerjee's order of constituting a Committee to review the status of Political Prisners in the State.

Very rightly, the Chief Minister wants to ensure the release of all those political prisoners including Maoists, who were falsely implicated by the previous regime.

However we feel that a general amnesty should not be given and all those, proved to be involed in heinous crimes, must be punished as per the law of the land.

If a general amnesty is announced than it will send a wrong message to the people of the state.

We already are used to seeing that, in India, if some one with no money power or political clout, kills one person, then he is swiftly tried and hanged. But if some one trains up an army and carries out more than one murders and killings, then the Govt sends feelers to that person for talks across the table! Those murders and killings may vary from demand of a separate state or a separate country to a whole militant Political Movement!

It seems that in India the Law is only written for the poor and ordinary non-political populace! A general amnesty will only prove it again!

  41. We just want to add a small point to our previous comment!

We request the West Bengal Govt under Hon Chief Minister Smt Mamata Banerjee to also extend her food distribution scheme to other sections of the Population even if they are not Adivasis or Indigenous people.

Because Poverty does not select people on the basis of their social background, but on the basis of their economic condition.
