Was Shahi Imam Bukhari right in visiting Nandigram ?
The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Delhi thought it wise to visit Nandigram on 13th June 2006. He was briefed by the CM Sri. Buddhadeb bhattacharjee before going there. He said that some people were trying to create communal tensions in Nandigram. But the people of Nandigram thought just the opposite, that there was no communal tension there and that the Imam's words were itself communal and therefore they did not allow him to visit the area as he would have liked to. What was the Imam trying to do there after so long time ? What will he get in return for it from both the Centre and State Government of West Bengal ?
Was it right for him to visit Nandigram ?

ReplyDeleteशाही इमाम बुखारी साहब इतने दिन बाद क्यों नन्दीग्राम गए ये हमारा समझ में नहीं आया। करीब ढाई महिनें तक उन्होनें चुप रहना मुनासिफ़ समझा, वहां 14ई मार्च 2007 के कत्ल-ए-आम के बाद उफ् तक नहीं किया। बहुत दिनों के बाद इस देश में हिन्दु और मुसलमान मिलके लड़ाई कर रहें हैं। फिर भी उन्होंने इस लड़ाई को विरोधीयों का साम्प्रदाईक चाल बताया। तो साम्प्रदाईक कौन बन रहा है ? लुठे हुए किसानों का दुःख दर्द अगर वे समझ नहीं सकते तो कम से कम राज्य के लहु-चूसनेवाला मुख्यमंत्री बुद्धदेव भट्टाचार्य का साथ तो न दे।
Shahi Imam was right. It is his bussiness to be communal!
ReplyDeleteI cannot comment on why Shahi Imam was late in going to Nandigram, what he was trying to do there , who sent him or whether he had gone according to his own wish and whether he would get any return benefit from anywhere but I feel he was correct in going there , whether late or in time was totally for him to decide, as I would go if my family members were in distress.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is very simple. Shahi Imam did not go to Nandigram on his own. He was neither bothered nor did he know what was going on there and for how long! He was being used by CM Mr Buddhodeb Bhattachaya for creating a Hindu Muslim Devide in Nandigram Bhumi Uchchhed Protirodh Committee. If this is not Communalism of the highest order then what is?
ReplyDeleteIt is only an interpretation that Shahi Imam did not go there on his own but was sent by the vested interest and that he had gone there to create an Hindu- Muslim divide. However, the main question is not why and for what interest he had gone there. The question is whether he was right in going there or not. Since Muslims are involved in general public as well as between the two local fighting parties ,he ,being a representative of the muslim community , was quite right in going there .

নন্দীগ্রামে গিয়ে, রাজার ডগর নিয়ে,
শেখানো বুলি তিনি আউড়াইলেন |
বুদ্ধবাবু অমায়িক, আউর বিরোধী লোগ সাম্প্রদায়িক,
বুদ্ধবাবুকা বাত তুমলোগ শুনিবেন ||
এই কথা শুনিয়া সেথা , যত গ্রামের বাপের-বেটা,
এক কথায় তাহাকে রুখিলেন |
ঢুকিতে না পারিয়া হোথা, আর তিনি যাইবেন কোথা,
এক দৌড়ে দিল্লিতে ফিরিলেন ||
"বাংলার মাটি দুর্জয় ঘাঁটি", বুখারি সাহেব বুঝিলেন খাঁটি,
পা দিয়া ফাঁদে বুদ্ধ-মার্ক্সবাদী |
বাংলার সেই প্রবাদ মহান, প্রমান করেন শাহি ইমাম,
"মোল্লার দৌড় মসজিদ অবধি" ||

ReplyDelete১)মোল্লার দৌড় ভ্যাটিকান অবধি না গিয়ে মশজিদ অবধি থাকাই কি ভাল না ? মোল্লা যখন মুসলমানদের তখন তার তো মসজিদের মধ্যেই সবসময় থাকা উচিৎ।
২)'বাংলার মাটি দুর্জয় ঘাঁটি' যদি হয় আর বুখারিকে যদি তা বুদ্ধ-মার্ক্সবাদীদের ফাঁদে পড়ে বুঝতে হয় তবে বাংলার লোকেরা নিজেরাই তা বুদ্ধ-মার্ক্সবাদীদের বুঝিয়ে না দিয়ে আরও কোলে টেনে নিচ্ছে কেন? তারাতো গেড়েই বসে আছে ।
